³³ In Asa’s third year as king of Judah, Baasha, son of Ahijah, began to rule Israel in Tirzah. He ruled for 24 years. ³⁴ He did what the Lord considered evil. He lived like Jeroboam and led Israel into committing the ⌞same⌟ sins.
